Enjoy this episode of Wednesday Night Don-O-Mite recorded 08/05/2026. Running Time: 75 Minutes. Synopsis posted below.
Lots of wrestling news and discussion this week including:
- AUDIO: Brock Lesnar officially calls it a career: Brock Lesnar announced his retirement from pro wrestling on The Pat McAfee Show. Never say never about a return, but his reasoning has everyone believing this is absolutely legitimate.
- Remembering Dory Funk Jr.: The wrestling world mourns the loss of one of the greatest wrestlers and trainers of all time who passed away at the age of 85.
- WWE Royal Rumble 2027 is coming to Arizona: As DT discussed on 8/3/26 Don Tony Show: Warmer temperatures + a stadium capacity of 60,000 could be a prime combination for WWE to make the Royal Rumble a two-night event.
- WWE reveals Roman Reigns' schedule leading to Money In The Bank (10/10/26): And DT explains why this spells some pretty shitty news for LA Knight and LAK fans alike over the next two months.
- Rey Mysterio reveals tournament will determine Roman Reigns' opponent for WWE World Heavyweight Championship on 9/14 RAW in Mexico City, Mexico: And with this happening the same week as TripleMania, there are two obvious names leading the pact.
- TKO reveals big Q2 2026 financial growth for WWE: DT crunches some of the numbers including massive increases in media rights fees and consumer product licensing. However, DT reveals the one category that had a 20% decline in revenue, including a surprising change to WWE live events no one is talking about.
- The Bellas saying Bella things: Brie Bella claims WWE officials wanted to stop the SummerSlam match due to her injury: Do you believe her?
- Ibou Shettah: You have to give the wrestling news fraudsters credit. You have to give the wrestling news fraudsters credit. Fill a bulls*t Iyo Sky story with Anti-WWE Creative anguish and emotion; the IWC and the cut and paste wrestling news sites will fall for it every single time.
- AEW GRAND SLAM MEXICO 2026 and AEW x CMLL Semana Internacional Results (8/4/2026)
- Congratulations to Bianca Belair and Montez Ford who are now the proud parents of a baby boy!
- This Week In Ratings featuring WWE RAW, SmackDown, NXT, AEW Dynamite, Collision, and TNA Impact.
- Mara Sade parts ways with TNA: Despite being offered a pay increase, Mara Sade leaves TNA with WWE and AEW both expressing interest in signing her.
- TNA announces another 'Hardy Party' event in Chicago: With TNA in town, Matt and Jeff Hardy will be hosting an exclusive fan Q&A and photo-op experience in late August. DT has all the details including pricing.
- Plus: Lola Vice' WWE main roster future... Miles Bourne becomes NXT double champion... Shiloh Hill sidelined with a broken jaw... WWE executive referred as Triple H's 'Number Two Guy exits the company... and much more!
